Meet at Mucho Gusto Veggetarian Restuarant at the entrace to the Diamante Valley. There we will kinnect with participants of the greater Diamante Valley HOME community collective and prepare for our pilgrimage into the sacred Green Diamond Valley.
After a morning swim at the confluence of the Diamante and Barucito rivers, the initiation point of the ancient indigenous path of the ceibo, we will walk to finca Ipe, one of the oldest and most abundant permaculture community projects in the southern pacific zone. Inspired by the current evolution of Finca Ipe, the founders of Finca Ipe collaborated with a few other permaculture visionaries and opened the Fuente Verde community in Las Tumbas, one of the first community projects to set out clear contracts and agreements for future members. We will spend the second half of the morning at Fuente Verde.
New Years eve we will walk up to the Diamante Verde Sanctuary in silence and honor passing through the time portal in silent ceremony with all our relations.
New Years dawn we wake greet the day in a mountain top temascal ceremony to shed the densities that have led us to where we are and embrace the light of what we are to become.
Purifed we will prepare ourselves for a mid day chocolate ceremony with KIETH THE CHOCOLATE SHAMAN FROM GUATEMALA!!
And return to the cave for a evening feast and music celebration
(please remember to bring super dank vegetarian/ live/ vital somethin to share )
The following Day on , Jan 2 until Jan 6
we will devote to the Diamante Verde Sanctuary flora, review the plan list that we have created over the last three Guardians of Edens. encounter new plant friends and forage for live foods, do yoga on the recently completed Lion's Den Yoga House. Holding the intention we set at the end of last years retreat, we will begin to nourish ourselves purely from wild foods gathered on the land.
Being in this moment and nourishing ourselves from the land, we will spend the next five days Hiking thru the Diamante Valley visiting numerous emerging community projects.
Finca Ama Linda -
The AMa vibe swept into the valley establishing a presence in 2005 and now, thanks to her grace Finca Ama Linda, arrising out of the ashes of the first incarnation of the HOME farm, has a circle of devotees manifesting in concensus of a common vision -- "An Eco Ashram"
Travelling up the Barucita River we will visit two community lands which are in the primier stages of development to share vision. We will land at Eric Rifkins La Joyo del Sol on the evening and recieve a vital live foods presentation and meal with Erik Rifkin.
In the morning of the 5th we will venture to La Florida, "the most tranquilo place in Costa Rica" and home of several amazing community projects, including True Nature and Puro Suerte. For two days we will explore the the treasures of La florida and celebrate with a birthday party for Dhara, a valley princess who turns 6.
From La florida we wil hike out to the top of the Tinemaste Mountains visit Eco Joyo.
Coming Soon - following the path of the ceibo into the high talamanca mountains.
spreading the seeds of spend 4 magical nights in the Catedral de Piedra at the Diamante Verde Spiritual Sanctuary . Here, we will relax into the nurturing energy of this magnificent natural temple, eat vitalizing vegetarian meals harvested out of our organic garden, cultivate a daily higher limbs yoga practice, swim in pristine natural pools, prepare plant medicines, and enrichen our botanical knowledge in one of the most floraly diverse regions of Costa Rica.
With the guidance of five unique medicinal plant teachers, we will dive into the diverse ethnobotany of the Diamante verde wilderness sanctuary and medicinal gardens. We will initiate a relationship with about 50 of the most common tropical plant families, and learn the biodynamic secrets of propogating and harvesting medicinal herbs.
"Join us as we anchor the christ conscious vibration into our communal heart-mind"
The Diamante Valley has flowered into one of the kindest valleys in costa rica where campesino tico culture has nourished community visionaries (and vic-a-versa). Walking through the valley, the keen student may observe roots of tico agricultural wisdom fused with permaculure and biodynamic practices on community farms creating a network of growing food forests and learning centers.
Descending from Diamante Verde on Jan. 2nd, we will continue on to visit a series of model farms where we will continue to explore Holistic Thrival in the new Paradigm.
On this walk we will drop in on a half dozen farm projects and listen to and share the wisdom of the ages that will allow us to thrive holistically on our path to oneness. In service (and to practice our skills), we will share our ethonbotanical knowledge through creating comprehensive list of cultivated and wild (medicinal/edible/useful) plants on each farm.
Each Farm/Community Project shares a common vision of "oneness", and yet they each have independent sets of contracts, agreements and missions that create diversity. We will listen as members of each community share their community birthing process: " what worked and what didn't, how they handle conflict resolution, decision making, financial distribution, what does it mean to be a member of the community or a visitor, if newcomers are required to go through an initiation process, how they handle ownership or shareship of the land, what type of foods they eat and why, what type of people they are attracting to participate in their dream, what the costs are ... and in service we offer to hold council for any current coflicts within the community and suggest solutions for current challenges faced by the community.
The quest through the Diamante valley will be on foot, so please bring appropriate hiking boots or good rubber boots that are comfortable. Each participant is encouraged to bring/purchase a machete which you will be instructed on how to sharpen tico-style. At each stop we will bring with us plant foods that we harvested along the way. Prepare forage feasts and share healing practices and medicinal uses of plants.
In the evenings we will share our love through healing circles, massage exchanges, and sacred song sharing. Each morning we will be given the opportunity to wake and partake in meditations, prana building breath work and yoga. And yes, we will swim in every swimming hole we pass, and there are many
.
